FOR MOSQUES
Nothing. Masjid App is free for mosques, and we don't charge platform fees. When donations launch, our payment provider's card processing fee will come out of each donation. We don't take a share.
Very little. Send us your timetable and your manager will set up your mosque's profile and prayer times. Jumu'ah times are set once a year, and if anything changes, just let us know.
Worshippers see your own jamaat and Jumu'ah times instead of calculated start times, and your mosque is marked as a Partner. When donations launch, they'll be available for partner mosques.
Under UK GDPR, to the same standards as Ayan's finance customers. Mosques only see totals, never who someone is.
Worshippers will give one-off or regular donations in the app. The money goes straight to your mosque's bank account through our payment provider, and we never hold it. If your mosque claims Gift Aid, we'll collect donors' declarations so you can claim from HMRC.
FOR WORSHIPPERS
Yes, it's free, and you don't need an account. If you'd like, create one with your email to keep your mosque and settings on any device.
Yes. You'll see prayer start times calculated for your mosque's location. Jamaat and Jumu'ah times appear once your mosque joins, and you can invite it from the app.
Ayan, a UK halal finance company built by the founders of Alif. We provide the technology only: mosques set their own times, and donations will go directly to mosques.
